‘America’s Got Talent’ Names Season 21 Champion

Season 21 of America’s Got Talent is officially over with the crowning of a new winner!
The AGT season finale took place over two nights, concluding on Wednesday (Sept. 23) with a two-hour event. The episode featured the finalists as well as a star-studded lineup of performers, including Josh Groban, Linkin Park, Mat Franco, and many more.
Last season’s winner, Jessica Sanchez, returned to perform on the stage that made her a star.

In a last-minute switch-up, longtime judge Simon Cowell missed the finale due to recovery from a back surgery. Britain’s Got Talent judge KSI stepped in for Cowell to judge the Top 10 acts.
Who were the AGT Season 21 finalists?
After nearly four months of competition that included Golden Buzzers, breakout stars, and heartbreaking eliminations, only ten acts remained going into the finale. Those acts were:
- Acro Canine Crew, a dancing dog group from Canada
- Korean dance crew, Come Here
- Geno Ploeger, a magician from Arizona
- Korean magician group, Hundred Fingers
- Teen singer, Lai Noelle
- Thai musician, Nene Royal
- Olivia Befus, a dog trainer from Michigan
- Las Vegas light-up dancers, Royal Lasers
- Chinese robot dance group, Unitree
- Veronika Goroshkova, a Las Vegas aerialist
Hundred Fingers, Lai Noelle, Nene Royal, and Unitree were all Golden Buzzer winners. The remaining finalists earned their spot with America’s votes.
Who won America’s Got Talent 2026?
Host Terry Crews revealed the results by narrowing the field down to the Top 5 acts.
The five acts eliminated first were: Come Here, Olivia Befus, Veronika Goroshkova, Unitree, and Acro Canine Crew. After a commercial break, two more acts were eliminated.
Finishing in 5th place was Veronika Goroshkova. The 4th place finisher was Royal Lasers.
When the final announcement was made, Crews revealed that the new America’s Got Talent champion and winner of $1 million is ….. NENE ROYAL!
Hundred Fingers finished in third, and Geno Ploeger finished in second place.
