Bailey Zimmerman Is Facing Felony And Misdemeanor Charges

On Monday, June 22, TMZ reported that Bailey Zimmerman is facing felony and misdemeanor charges in New Mexico following an alleged incident at a hotel.

The hotel claims Zimmerman trashed his room, causing over $16,000 in damages.

Prosecutors in Bernalillo County filed legal documents to obtain an arrest warrant for the country singer on June 18. The charges include a “felony charge for criminal damage to property” and a “misdemeanor charge of falsely obtaining services.”

The documents, according to TMZ, claim that on May 27, Zimmerman allegedly trashed his hotel room before he was supposed to perform at the amphitheater at Sandia Resort and Casino in Albuquerque.

Police were told by hotel security that the “Rock And A Hard Place” singer appeared drunk all evening, even “stumbling, falling, and acting belligerently onstage for sound check.”

An affidavit claims the singer threw microphones, cymbals, and storming off stage multiple times. Police are also saying that he spit at a security guard, and was upset he was being driven in a white SUV instead of a black one.

Back at the resort, the documents claim he was so belligerent that his shoe flew off, he had a bloody knee, and needed assistance walking.

Shortly Before The Concert, Zimmerman Rescheduled Two Shows

Shortly before he was set to take the stage, Zimmerman rescheduled his show for that night, May 27, and his show on May 30th.

“Y’all know there’s nothing I love more than getting out on the road and playing these shows for you, so it’s so hard for me to have to say this, but I have to reschedule tonight’s (5/27) and Saturday’s (5/30) shows,” he wrote on Instagram. “I have not been feeling well and have tried to power through, but I’m not able to give you all the show you deserve.”

He continued, “I hate letting y’all down and was really looking forward to these shows, but I gotta take care of myself so I can get back out there stronger.”

Zimmerman has yet to respond to the charges.

This is a developing story…
