Gwen’s Reaction To Blake Shelton Being Named ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ Will Make You Melt

Blake Shelton was named this year’s “Sexiest Man Alive,” but according to Gwen Stefani, she’s known this for awhile!

After the news broke on Shelton’s status as the “Sexiest Man Alive,” those closest to him began throwing in their opinions on the matter, Luke Bryan asking “Who in the hell is choosing this?” However, in Stefani’s opinion, there is no one more “perfect” to wear the crown!

“He’s perfect for it,” Stefani shared in an interview with PEOPLE. “Somebody that is funny and has a sense of humor is sexy — that’s the No. 1 thing,” she said before continuing, “[He’s] somebody that is at the top of their game and talented and genuine and cool and generous and just not self-aware at all — completely a man.”

In addition, the popstar took to Twitter to share a heart-melting photo of her and Shelton liplocked, writing “I guess I’ve been kissing the [sexiest man alive] all this time.”

Stefani also took to Instagram to share an exclusive photo of the “Sexiest Man Alive,” declaring herself the “luckiest girl in the world.”

Shelton and Stefani initially met as coaches on The Voice, becoming virtually inseparable ever since. The lovebirds recently recorded a holiday-themed duet together for Stefani’s Christmas album in the form of swoon-worthy “You Make It Feel Like Christmas.”
