After some minor hiccups, Morgan Wallen’s This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen opened its doors to the public on June 1, marking yet another huge career milestone for the star.

Morgan Wallen first announced his new business venture in February, stating that the bar, restaurant, and live music venue will offer Music City visitors a one-of-a-kind experience rooted in Morgan’s Tennessee upbringing. In a press release issued at the time, Wallen promised “a menu around some of my family favorites, so it brings a piece of East Tennessee to Music City” and a place to “make memories with your friends and family and celebrate the way country music has brought us all together.”

Located in Nashville’s Lower Broadway district, the six-story establishment boasts three live music stages and six bars across approximately 30,000 square feet. A carefully crafted menu curated by Morgan and Chef Tomasz Wosiak features tailgate favorites, main dishes, specialty drinks, and more, including some recipes from Morgan Wallen’s mom, Lesli.

Delayed Opening For This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen

Morgan Wallen’s new establishment opened on June 1, nearly one week after its original grand opening date. The opening was reportedly delayed after Nashville’s city council rejected a proposed sign for the bar. The Nashville Metro Council overwhelmingly voted against the sign due to Wallen’s recent legal troubles and pending criminal charges and his past questionable decisions, including the use of racial slurs. The restaurant denied those claims, instead citing delays for final inspections.

Now that Morgan Wallen’s This Bar & Tennessee Kitchen is officially open, fans hoping to make the trek to visit have one question – WHAT’S ON THE MENU?

Fans lucky enough to visit the new establishment in recent days are raving about the food offerings, with the Southern Nachos being named a diner favorite.

The hearty kitchen offerings consist of a main menu that features appetizers, aka starters, like the aforementioned nachos, Bavarian pretzels, and chicken wings. The main menu also offers four salad options, four “stacked waffle” offerings, and plenty of hearty main dishes to choose from, including “Mamaw Boots’ Biscuits & Gravy, Morgan’s Spaghetti, and more.

The restaurant’s Tailgate Menu offers plenty of finger food options that pair perfectly with the drinks on the extensive beverage menu. Some of the Tailgate options include Tater Totchos, Nashville Hot Chicken Bites, and Prime Rib Sliders.

The drink menu contains go-to canned and bottled favorites as well as wine options. But perhaps the most fun part of the drink menu is the specialty mixed drinks that are a nod to the bar’s owner. The More Than My Hometown cocktail is a specially crafted blend of Knob Creek bourbon, ginger beer, raspberry and lime. The Ain’t That Some cocktail is a unique blend of vodka, passionfruit, lime, and orange.

Lest younger Morgan Wallen fans feel left out, a modest kid’s menu is available. It features smaller portions of three of the main menu items: Chicken Tendies, Classic Smashburger, and Mac & Cheese.

Chocolate cake with ice cream and hot fudge or funnel cake fries with whiskey dipping sauce are sure to please patrons with a sweet tooth.
