“CMA Country Christmas” Performance Details Announced

The Country Music Association has announced the star-studded lineup for its 14th annual CMA Country Christmas special.
Every year, CMA Country Christmas marks the beginning of the holiday season with a night filled with festive classics and unique musical performances. The celebration is recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, and is broadcast each holiday season on the ABC Television Network.
CMA Country Christmas is returning for its 14th year of festive musical fun! Executive Producer Robert Deaton, Director Milton Sneed, and Writer Jon Macks all join forces for the annual holiday production. Amy Grant and Trisha Yearwood are coming together to celebrate the season as the hosts of this year’s broadcast. The Country Music Association announced the news on Tuesday (Nov. 14), also revealing the slate of performers on tap for the festive celebration.

Earlier this year, Grant unveiled her intention to debut new music, marking her first release in ten years. Following her 2013 full studio album of original songs, “How Mercy Looks From Here,” she subsequently released the Christmas album “Tennessee Christmas” in 2016. In 2022, she collaborated with her husband, Vince Gill, on the Christmas album titled “Christmas Traditions.”
In 2016, Yearwood also released a Christmas album, collaborating with her husband, Garth Brooks, for “Christmas Together.” Her most recent original album is “Every Girl,” released in 2019.

Your Performers
This year’s lineup includes newly-crowned CMA Entertainer of the Year Lainey Wilson, plus Jon Pardi, Ashley McBryde, Jordan Davis, Lady A, and the War and Treaty. Christian rock artist Zach Williams is also on board — he’ll perform with Wilson — as is violinist and CMA Country Christmas mainstay Lindsay Stirling.
The 14th annual holiday television special will also include performances from hosts Amy Grant and Trisha Yearwood.

CMA Country Christmas is filmed in Nashville in front of a live studio audience. The show is set to air Thursday, Dec. 14 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC, and streams the next day on Disney+ and Hulu.
