Donald Trump Was Inaugurated On January 20th As The 47th President Of The United States
His inauguration was filled with country music artists and stars who have been outspoken supporters of the president.
Some of the performers include Carrie Underwood, Lee Greenwood, Parker McCollum, Jason Aldean, Rascal Flatts, and more.
The president’s inauguration was filled with highlights, technical difficulties, and many memorable moments. After his inauguration, country music artists took to social media to share their delight that Donald Trump is officially back in office.
Here is what country music artists had to say.
Lee Greenwood
You cannot mention the country artists who support Donald Trump without mentioning Lee Greenwood, a proud American patriot and the original and voice behind “God Bless the USA.”
Lee Greenwood posted a video showing the history of Donald Trump throughout his career, and he said, “Today, we all will witness history. My support for Donald J Trump has never wavered. God Bless the 47th President of the United States.”
The singer was also chosen to sing during Trump’s entrance at his Victory Rally.
Don’t miss the adorable photo of him posing with Carrie Underwood, who faced technical difficulties during her performance at the inauguration but managed to save the moment by singing a cappella.
Jason And Brittany Aldean
Jason Aldean and his wife, Brittany, have maintained a long relationship with President Donald Trump. However, the couple has faced backlash and criticism for their outspoken views.
Brittany shared a photo of herself and her husband at the inauguration with a caption expressing their support and addressing the fact that they have had to endure hatred for their political stance. She said: “What a ride it’s been! Today has made all the scrutiny worth it. Wouldn’t change a thing.”
Jason Aldean was also one of the performers at the inauguration and shared a thank you post on his social media. Where he said, “Such an honor to be playing for our president @realdonaldtrump tonight in DC. Excited for where we are headed as a country, the feeling here is electric. We can’t wait to rip it up tonight and have some fun.”
During his inauguration performance, Aldean noticed that an audience member was looking sick. He stopped the show to make sure that the fan had adequate medical attention and once they were okay, he continued.
Besides the medical emergency and the inauguration, Aldean shared news that he would be going on tour.
Kid Rock
Kid Rock was another one of the performers that was slated to have a set during Trump’s inauguration weekend. He recently spoke to Fox News about how he is one of the original supporters of Donald Trump.
“I mean, it’s better late than never. I mean, I feel like people are finding out, you know, really what type of man, you know, that Trump is. And he’s just a terrific guy, you know. And they know what I and, you know, plenty of people have known for eight years. I mean, I endorsed him when he came down the elevator because I love the fact that he was not a politician. He was a businessman. And the business of America has sucked for so long. Like, we need someone in here making sensible decisions.”
Over the weekend he shared his excitement for the Nation going forward with Donald Trump as president. See what he said below.
Gavin Adcock
Gavin Adcock posted an old video onto his page on the day of the inauguration, which shows him playing one of his original songs “Run Your Mouth.”
John Daly FaceTimed Donald Trump in the video. You can see that Gavin is surprised to see Donald Trump on the video, but continues to play.
“Welcome back to the king of “Run Your Mouth” @realdonaldtrump”

He then posted again, welcoming President Trump back to office on the inauguration day.

John Rich
John Rich has been a dedicated Trump supporter and conservative voice on X. The singer who is half of the group Big & Rich shared a strong message on social media prior to the inauguration calling out conservative country artists who are not speaking out in support of Donald Trump. He said:
“So listen, if you’re a big country artist and you follow me, come on, come on. It ain’t outlaw to sit around and keep your mouth shut. All right. You can’t claim to love Johnny Cash and Kristofferson and Willie and Waylon and Tanya and Loretta and on and on and say that you’re following in their footsteps when you keep your mouth shut.”
