Dancing With The Stars Season 35 Premieres On September 15
In July, Dancing With The Stars revealed that the show would be returning to television with a special, two-night premiere beginning on Tuesday, September 15th.
Hosts Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro will be returning and so are judges Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli.
4 Celebrities Were Already Announced
Much like Robert Irwin being announced early for Season 34, which he ended up winning, Dancing With The Stars made some early celebrity announcements this season as well.
Back in April at their Get Real event, reality stars Maura Higgins and Ciara Miller were announced as the first celebrities to join the show.
Shortly after, Savannah Bananas star Jackson Olson became the third celebrity to sign on to the ballroom dancing show.
The last celebrity to be announced early was Guillermo Rodriguez, who is best known as Jimmy Kimmel’s sidekick on his late night talk show.
In August, Rodriguez was revealed to be competing with reigning champion Witney Carson, who also just revealed she is pregnant.
Who Is Competing on Season 35 Of Dancing With The Stars?
Along with new celebrities, there are new pros joining the ballroom! The winner of DWTS: The Next Pro, Adele Zaikman, will be making her debut in the ballroom alongside her celebrity partner, Connor Leavitt.
Additionally, former troupe member Hailey Bills has been chosen to make her debut as a profession with her celebrity partner, Sarah Jane Nader, becoming the second same sex couple to compete on the show. The first was Jojo Siwa and Jenna Johnson, who happens to be Hailey’s aunt, so we’re sure she will be getting some pointers!
