Ella Langley Acts Fast After Her “Entire Dress” Comes Unzipped Onstage
on Jul 21, 2026

Ella Langley‘s recent performance in Baltimore was certainly a memorable one!
The “Choosin’ Texas” singer opened for Morgan Wallen at M&T Bank Stadium over the weekend. She started the show wearing a bright pink, patterned dress with bell sleeves and fringe around the skirt.

But Langley was only two songs into her set when she suffered a wardrobe malfunction onstage.
Acting fast, Langley grabbed a customized Ravens jersey and slipped it on over her dress. Thankfully, whatever happened wasn’t that bad, as the audience couldn’t see anything from their vantage point.
The rest of Langley’s set went off without a hitch, and she handled everything in stride.
See some videos of Langley following the incident below.

Langley provided some additional context after the show. The following day, she shared her priceless reaction to the situation on her Instagram Story, revealing that her “entire dress” came unzipped during her second song.
“Yesterday my entire dress came unzipped during song #2 in a 60 minute set in the pouring down rain in a stadium full of people.”
The song playing over the post was “Wonderful” by Stone Temple Pilots, serving as Langley’s hilarious response to the ordeal.

Ella Langley Just Made Billboard Chart History With “Choosin’ Texas”
A recent achievement may help Ella Langley forget about her onstage wardrobe malfunction. Her hit single, “Choosin’ Texas,” just notched its 14th week at the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making history in the process.
“Choosin’ Texas” already broke the record for the longest-running Hot 100 chart-topper from a female country artist. Now, the song has tied another, even larger record.

As Billboard details, by spending 14 weeks at #1, “Choosin’ Texas” has tied with Whitney Houston’s version of “I Will Always Love You” and Mariah Carey’s “We Belong Together” as the second-longest-running #1 song by a female artist in any genre on the Hot 100.
Only one song sits above those three: Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You.” The holiday tune has spent 22 weeks at #1 on the Hot 100. “Choosin’ Texas” has eight more weeks to go in order to tie the record, and nine weeks to beat it.
We wouldn’t be surprised if “Choosin’ Texas” reaches that point! Check out the song’s official music video below, which stars Miranda Lambert, Ava Phillippe, Luke Grimes, and, of course, Langley herself.
