The cast of Full House remembers Bob Saget two years after his passing.

John Stamos, Dave Coulier, Jodie Sweetin, Candace Cameron Bure, and Andrea Barber, who make up the majority of the cast of Full House, gathered virtually on the 2nd anniversary of Bob Saget’s death.

In a video posted to social media, the cast members share memories and reflect on the loss of their beloved co-star. Andrea Barber, who portrayed Kimmy Gibbler on the show, shared:

“It almost gets weirder as time goes on because I’m like, ‘Wow, it’s been a long time since I’ve heard from Bob.’ And I’m like, ‘Oh.’ It’s so weird to have gone two years without getting a crazy long text from him or a neurotic phone call. It’s so weird that it’s been two years.”

Dave Coulier, who played Joey Gladstone, fondly recalled:

“Bob would always call me to sing a song in falsetto. It was usually a Christmas song. He would just go on for five minutes. And I’d say, ‘Bob, how are you?’ and he’s like, ‘Don’t interrupt.’”

Jodie Sweetin, who played Bob’s daughter Stephanie on the show, wore a sweatshirt with Bob’s name across the front and told her cast mates:

“I can’t tell you how many times I will be somewhere just out in L.A. or something and I see out of the corner of my eye someone that like, in my peripheral, looks like Bob. It has stopped me more than once.”

Candace Cameron Bure (DJ Cameron) remembers seeing a particular kind of bird on the day Saget passed. Since then, each time she sees that bird, she is reminded of her friend. She also tearfully shares how important it has been for her to have friends and loved ones who will just “sit in the grief” with her.

John Stamos (Uncle Jesse) reflects on how the pain of grief “never goes away.” He compares it to being poked by a stick.

“It’s just there, and you get used to it. But like, I don’t want to get used to it. I think I still want to be hurting from it. But he doesn’t want us to be that way, right?”

Stamos also shared in the caption of the video:

“Part of me wishes I wouldn’t get used to this feeling. To not think about it every minute means I’m getting used to him not being here. But then, I know Bob would want me to get on with my life. Yet, letting it drift away feels wrong too. It’s such a drag that death is a part of life.”
