The future of Garth Brooks’ Kansas City tour stop is in question after the artist was forced to shut down ticket sales.

Few country music tours have seen success like Garth Brooks’ Blame It All On My Roots Tour. The arena tour was scheduled to coincide with the 30th anniversary of his historic World Tour, which saw him perform 344 concerts from March of 1996 to November of 1998.

Unlike other tours, Garth didn’t release a master schedule for his Blame It All On My Roots Tour, instead opting to announce cities and dates one at a time. The demand for tickets has led him to add matinee concerts and additional nights in some cities.

Garth Brooks Kansas City Concert Ticket Sales Shut Down

Such was the case for his Kansas City stop slated for November. Garth announced in early October that he would be playing two nights, November 6 & 7, at the T-Mobile Center.

A few weeks later, on October 21, he added a matinee show for Saturday, November 7. But almost as quickly as tickets for the third show went on sale, they came to an abrupt halt.

Tickets for the Kansas City shows went on sale at 10:00 a.m. Friday (Oct. 23). Five minutes later, ticket sales were halted.

Team Garth posted on social media that they were being forced to “shut down” ticket sales “due to excessive bot activity.” The shared statement added that the “Callin’ Baton Rouge” singer and concert promoters were “evaluating next steps and the future of the show.”

Garth followed up with a personal note to his fans, vowing that he will be personally looking into the bot situation and will do all that he can to fix it.

“The bot situation is out of hand. It’s been progressively getting worse on this tour. With that said, my concern is for the people who managed to buy tickets today for the third show in Kansas City before the bots crashed the [on-sale],” Garth wrote on X. “I will personally look into what can be done. You have my word that all that can be done will be done. You have my deepest apologies for the results and my most sincere appreciation for your efforts today. love, g”

Kansas City will be the 8th stop on the Blame It All On My Roots Tour. The tour kicked off at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, on August 20, 2026. He has since visited Denver, Chicago, Washington, D.C., Orlando, Salt Lake City, and Tulsa. Following his Kansas City stop, Garth will take his tour to Seattle. More dates are expected to be announced soon!
