The tour coincides with Jason Aldean’s latest album by the same name.

Aldean described the album, saying:

“I’ve built my career on the road and it’s my favorite part of what we do – this album really came from that.”

Among the tracks on Highway Desperado is the controversial yet wildly successful song “Try That In A Small Town.” The album is currently occupying the 17th spot on the Billboard Hot Country Albums Chart.

Jason Aldean will also be featured as a headliner for the “Rock The Country” Festivals.

In addition to the Highway Desperado Tour, Jason Aldean will headline the brand-new country music festival, Rock the Country, alongside Kid Rock. The seven-stop, two-day music festival tour will kick off in Gonzalez, LA, and will take over Ashland, KY, Rome, GA, Ocala, FL, Mobile, AL, Poplar Bluff, MO, and Anderson, SC between April through July of next year.
