Jelly Roll Set To Debut Brand New Song At 2024 ACM Awards

Jelly Roll is all set to unveil his latest musical endeavors at the 59th Academy of Country Music Awards.

Jelly Roll has announced that he will be performing a new song during his appearance at the upcoming 2024 ACM Awards.

This revelation follows the success of his performance last year, where he debuted “Save Me” featuring Lainey Wilson. Their emotional and captivating performance propelled the song to a No.1 single, earning the duo a nomination for this year’s ACM Music Event of the Year.

Despite not receiving any nominations in 2023, Jelly Roll’s impactful performance at the previous awards show and his accumulated success since garnered significant attention. This year, he is thrilled to be recognized as a first-time nominee in four categories, including the prestigious Entertainer of the Year.

In an interview with Country Now, Jelly Roll expressed his readiness to conclude the era of his Whitsitt Chapel album and usher in a new wave of fresh music during his performance on May 16.

Reflecting on the success of “Save Me,” he shared his emotional attachment to the song and expressed his excitement about introducing another new song at the ACM Awards, hinting at the possibility of making this a recurring tradition.

“I don’t want to get emotional talking about this, but ‘Save Me,’ me and Lainey debuted it here last year. It went on to be a number-one record. It’s a triple platinum, I mean, it’s huge. [It] changed my life in every way. It was a big part of the Whitsitt Chapel era of that album and then we kind of get to debut another new song here. So it’s cool. It feels like it’s turning into, I hope, a cycle. Maybe I debut a song every ACM.”

While the upcoming performance will offer a glimpse of his new music, Jelly Roll has hinted at a few unreleased songs that he is eager to share with his audience. He playfully likened himself to a child with an abundance of candy, unsure of where to begin.

“I’ve got a lot of songs, but I’m not sure how I’m going to release, so I’m still figuring it out.”
