Justin Moore Shares Update After “Stepping Away” From Touring Due To His Health

Justin Moore has some news to share with his fans after taking a one-month hiatus from touring.
On June 8th, the “Til My Last Day” singer shared a statement on social media. He announced the cancellation of several performances to prioritize his health.
“I’ve made the decision to take some time to focus on my health,” the statement read. “As a result, I’ll be stepping away from touring for a short period and will be unable to perform some upcoming shows. This is the right decision for me and my family, and I appreciate everyone’s understanding and support. I look forward to getting back out there later this summer and doing what I love most.“
Moore had been scheduled to open for Riley Green on his Cowboy As It Gets Tour. The trek has been running since April and concludes in August.
But because of his decision to step away from touring, Moore did not perform on the later June and early July dates of Green’s tour.

Then, on Tuesday (July 7th), Moore shared the update fans had been waiting to hear. He posted a simple video of himself walking onstage, with the caption reading “See y’all on the road soon!“
The video ended with a list of Moore’s upcoming tour dates, showing that he’s ready to get back in the swing of things following his break. See his update in the post below.
What’s Next For Justin Moore As He Returns To Touring? When Are His Upcoming Shows?
Justin Moore will be back onstage fairly soon. His first post-hiatus performance will be on Thursday (July 9), at the Knox County Fair in Knoxville, Illinois.
Moore’s website shows that he’ll also be singing at a number of upcoming festivals, including the National Cherry Festival, Country Jam USA 2026, and the Born & Raised Music Festival, among others.
He has headlining shows booked throughout the summer and fall, with performances in cities such as Detroit, Colorado Springs, Montgomery, and more.
Additionally, Moore will be resuming his role as an opener on Riley Green’s tour. He will reunite with Green in Salt Lake City on July 23. Moore is also slated to open for Green during eight shows in August.
