Lainey Wilson Reveals What Marriage To Devlin Hodges Has Really Been Like After 5 Months

Lainey Wilson can’t stop gushing about her husband, Devlin “Duck” Hodges.
The country superstar and the former NFL quarterback tied the knot on May 10 in a gorgeous ceremony and reception held at Ruskin Cave in Dickson, Tennessee.
The wedding was definitely one that people will be talking about for years to come. Just days after they said “I do,” their special day was featured in an article by Vogue, giving fans an inside look at the celebration and all of the famous guests who attended.
Every detail was so intentional. Wilson had clearly thought about every part of her dream wedding, including a small but meaningful touch to her wedding dress.
The gown was custom-made for her by Oscar de la Renta and had delicate cherry blossoms sewn on it. The flowers held a very special meaning for the “4X4XU” singer.
“The cherry blossom represents living in the moment, and that’s exactly what we did,” she told Vogue.

Lainey Wilson Shares An Update On How Married Life Is Going
Wilson and Hodges have been married for a little over five months now, but the couple still feel like they’re in the honeymoon phase.
Right before her set at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, Wilson spoke with Entertainment Tonight about how married life is going and the one thing that has surprised her the most.
“I hadn’t gotten rid of him yet. That probably surprises him,” she joked.
On a more serious note, Wilson continued:
“It just feels good. It feels like we’re just turning the page into a beautiful chapter…I mean, he’s just the best thing that’s ever happened to me. I’m telling ya, he’s a good man.”
There’s no doubt that Hodges is his wife’s biggest supporter.
Whether she’s traveling around the world for concerts, or taking on side quests like acting and hosting, he’s always there cheering her on. And we’d bet he’ll be right by her side when her next hosting gig at the CMA Awards in November rolls around.
