Luke Combs Announces New Album Coming Soon
on Jan 04, 2023
Luke Combs surprised fans Wednesday with news that he will be releasing his fourth studio album in March!
Combs shared the news on social media with a post that simply read, “New album. 18 songs. March 24.”
The album’s release comes less than a year after the release of his third album, Growin’ Up. The release date is set one day before Luke kicks off his highly-anticipated world tour. The tour will kick off in Arlington, Texas, and take Combs to 3 continents and 16 countries before wrapping in London, England, in mid-October.

The reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year has yet to release an album title or song list, but it’s safe to assume that most (if not all) of the tracks on the project will have been written by Combs himself. The 32-year-old co-wrote every song on his previous album and told Billboard that he enjoys that process so much that he isn’t sure he could “bring himself” to cut songs by other writers.
“I just like that part of it so much, the writing thing. I’m sure that my albums would probably be even more successful if I cut outside songs because [there are] songwriters a lot better than I am, but I just can’t bring myself to do it,” Combs said.
Combs has shared clips of some songs on social media, perhaps giving fans a glimpse at his upcoming album. Clips of “Tattoo on a Sunburn” and “Days Like These” have been shared. While it’s not confirmed that these will be included on the new album, the clips of the unreleased originals have fans anxiously awaiting the release of Combs’ new album.
