Just over two months after Morgan Wallen shaved his head the “Wasted On You” singer ditched his baseball cap to show fans his new hairdo.

Morgan Wallen had fans in an uproar when he showed up at his Columbus, Ohio, tour stop with a shaved head and without his signature mustache. The 30-year-old singer kept his bald head hidden under a ball cap and told the crowd, “Before we get any further, I didn’t like my long hair anymore, so I shaved it off.”

Any photos released by Wallen in the weeks since have shown him with his head covered, until now.

In a post made to social media Friday (Oct. 20), a stone-faced Morgan is seen looking directly into the camera sans hat, but with his mustache grown back. He is no longer bald, with his hair looking more like a buzz cut and far from his iconic mullet.

Fan response to the photo ranged from “I feel like you’re about to ask for my license and registration” to “Morgan is in his ‘going as Travis Kelce for Halloween’ era.”

The singer also shared a photo to his Instagram story in which he is shown wearing a tux at the wedding of one of his best friends.

Fans agreed that the new look is a far cry from Morgan Wallen‘s bad boy image, but those who preferred his mullet likely have no reason to worry.

Wallen mostly stayed quiet about why he shaved his head and if his legendary mullet is gone forever. But, he did sneak a comment into his Instagram story implying that the change is short-term.

In the story, he posted a clip of himself walking to the stage moments before debuting his newly bald head. Small text over the photo reads, “Right before everybody apparently starting thinking I’m staying clean shaven forever lol.”
