It Has Been Over 60 Years Since The Assassination Of JFK

On Tuesday, March 18, a historic moment happened for America as the classified documents related to JFK’s assassination were finally released.

It’s been over 60 years since the tragic killing of former President John F. Kennedy. He served as the 35th president of the United States from 1961 to 1963 before he was assassinated on November 22, 1963.

JFK was in Dallas, Texas, when he was shot from a distance while riding in an open motorcade with his wife, Jacqueline.

The man accused of killing JFK was Lee Harvey Oswald, a worker at the Texas School Depository. Two days later, Oswald was shot and killed by nightclub owner Jack Ruby as he was being transported to a different county jail. His murder was broadcast live on television, with a crowd of press capturing the shocking moment on camera.

Since JFK’s tragic death, many have wondered what happened and who was truly involved. While Oswald was declared the lone assassin, many Americans had their doubts. Some believe there was a larger conspiracy, possibly involving multiple people. Others even question whether Oswald played a role at all.
