Post Malone Sings With Elmo On Upcoming ‘Sesame Street’ Special

With songs titled “Circles,” “I Had Some Help,” and “Congratulations,” an artist like Post Malone may have found that he’s a perfect fit at 123 Sesame Street.
On Aug. 3, Post Malone will be a special guest on Sesame Street, and the 31-year-old artist will be singing with Elmo and Abby Cadabby.
A clip of a song, titled “A Little Help,” has been shared online ahead of the streaming premiere of this new special episode.

Titled Storm on Sesame Street, this new Sesame Street special features Post Malone.
Netflix describes this special as being about a fairly serious topic, with Big Bird’s nest being destroyed by a storm.
“After a hurricane blows through Sesame Street, Big Bird no longer has a nest!” the plot description reads. “But his friends band together to cheer him up — and help rebuild his home.”
Riffing on the lyrics to Post Malone’s 2024 hit song “I Had Some Help,” which features Morgan Wallen, Posty sings “A Little Help” with Elmo and Abby, who are also accompanied by Elmo’s dog, Tango.
In a press release, Joseph Giraldi, chief operating officer at Sesame Workshop, said, “Extreme weather is now a reality for many families, and young children need support they can understand and trust.”
Sesame Street says in the press release:
“Children born in 2020 are projected to experience up to seven times more extreme weather events than those born in 1960, and one in five Americans has had to evacuate their home due to these events.”
Further, Giraldi stated, “With our Extreme Weather response initiative, we’re using the power of Sesame Street to help children prepare for what’s ahead, cope with big emotions during moments of disruption, and begin to recover afterward.”
As they sing about helping, we see Sesame Street rebuilding after a major weather event.
Trash and debris litter Sesame Street, but that becomes an opportunity to pitch in as a community, with murals being repainted, a firefighter helping fix a light pole, and more.
