Post Malone is soon to be a married man.
On Tuesday, August 18th, rapper-turned-country-star Post Malone popped the question to his girlfriend, Christy Lee, during a trip to visit his new Utah ranch. As seen from posts shared online, the bride-to-be’s close friends flew out to surprise her for the engagement.
The group celebrated with a scenic outdoor dinner, complete with a view of the Utah mountains in the distance. Later in the night, Post and Christy donned festive “groom-to-be” and “bride-to-be” sashes and matching sunglasses.
The pair looked happily in love, grinning from ear to ear, and wrapping their arms around each other. Christy wore a pink babydoll dress, and Posty looked sharp in a white pearl snap.
Post Malone & Christy Lee’s Story
Post Malone shares a daughter, born in May 2022, with his ex-fiancée, Hee Sung “Jamie” Park. The two reportedly parted ways in 2024, and he largely keeps his daughter out of the public eye. He has not shared her name publicly, but told GQ:
“She’s just the most beautiful creature to ever have existed on this earth. And I can’t believe that… Well, I don’t deserve something like that, but it’s pretty cool that’s in my life.”
Post and Christy were first linked romantically in early 2025 after being spotted having dinner in Rome. Christy is a stylist who’s worked with celebrities like Bella Thorne and Brooks Nader.
TMZ had reported last summer that the couple had called it quits after dating for several months. Although it is unclear exactly when they reconciled, they were pictured together at the Khaite fashion show in February earlier this year.
Engagement Ring Confirmed To Be 20+ Carats
Christy Lee told Vogue that, in the months leading up to the engagement, her superstar boyfriend began casually asking questions about her ring preferences. After learning that she preferred an oval diamond on a simple gold band, Post asked her if there was such a thing as a ring being too big. She recalled, “I jokingly told him I didn’t think so.”
Post Malone worked with Angel City Jewelers to craft a custom engagement ring for his future bride. Ultimately, he popped the question with a 20+ carat natural diamond. Christy shared:
“When I saw it, I was honestly speechless. He had somehow taken all of those little conversations and created exactly what I would have chosen for myself.”
