At age 15, Voice contestant Allie Rae has proven that she is a natural onstage.

Allie auditioned for Season 30 of The Voice with a stunning cover of Alannah Myles’ “Black Velvet.” New coach and country singer Riley Green turned his chair right away, followed by Kelly Clarkson and Queen Latifah.

Riley loved Allie’s performance so much that he pressed his “First In” button. The “First In” button overrode the other coaches and brought Allie onto his team by default.

From there, Allie competed against Harmony McKee in the battles. They delivered one of Riley’s “favorite” performances during that phase of the competition, issuing a fiery cover of Miranda Lambert‘s “Mama’s Broken Heart.”

Allie won the battle and advanced to Cut Week. This brand-new phase of the competition replaced the Knockouts and Playoffs and ended with the largest elimination in Voice history.

At the start of the November 3 episode, all four Voice coaches named two contestants they wanted to save. Riley opted to save Cade Mower and sister duo Ferryn & Brinkley.

From there, the remaining five contestants on Team Riley competed for the third and final spot on his team. Those contestants were Evan James, Joe Henley, Everett Bounds, Keiyana Osmond, and Allie Rae.

Allie Rae Sings Lainey Wilson’s “4x4xU” On “The Voice”

Allie Rae poured an abundance of energy into a performance of Lainey Wilson‘s popular love song, “4x4xU.” The coaches were visibly impressed by her rendition, which ended on a powerful note.

Even though Allie wasn’t on her team, Kelly Clarkson made it clear she was one of her biggest fans. She said, “You are 15 years old, that is CRAZY. Regardless what happens, right now, you are so far ahead of the game. You are gonna be incredible.”

Allie’s coach, Riley Green, also enjoyed every second of her performance. He paid her quite the compliment, saying:

“I loved it, everything about it was great, like a little mini Reba. You’re so fierce. We got to see the best version of you in that performance and I really loved it.”

But in the end, Riley chose Joe Henley as the third contestant he wanted to bring to the live shows. With that, Allie Rae was eliminated from The Voice…for now.

She was one of 16 contestants who were cut from the competition. However, there’s a chance she could come back, as viewers could vote for their favorite singer in that group of 16.

Whoever earns the most votes will advance to the live shows, forming the Top 13. So stay tuned to learn if Allie is the lucky one to earn that spot.

In the meantime, check out her cover of “4x4xU” in the video below. If this is the end of her Voice journey, we wish her the best with her future!
