A rodeo clown’s job can be as dangerous as the bull rider’s job and a recent video shows just how wild these rodeos can be.

During a rodeo, a bystander was filming from the stands when they capture a nearly 2000 pound bull throwing a rodeo clown out of the pin and into the stands.

The video starts off with the rider and the bull coming out of the gate. The rider only lasts a few seconds on the bull before falling off to the side and landing on the ground.

At that point, the bull has its eyes locked onto the rider as if it’s going to come after him now that he’s on the ground and give him a good stomping. However, that’s when the first rodeo clown stepped in.

A rodeo clown can be seen trying to get the attention of the bull by standing over the fallen rider but the bull easily knocks him down to the ground. It could have gotten much worse after that but another rodeo clown stepped in and got the bull’s attention.

The rodeo clown ran directly in front of the bull’s head to distract it and like a catapult, the bull sent him flying about 12 feet into the air, over the pin fence, and into the stands with the crowd.

The bull took off running away from the rider and everything calmed down after that. It was a close call for all of them but due to the brave rodeo clowns, they minimized injuries to the rider.
