Travis Tritt Reveals Fate Of Upcoming Shows Following Pneumonia Diagnosis
on

Travis Tritt has shared an update after revealing last week that a pneumonia diagnosis would force him to cancel shows.
On September 24th, the 63-year-old country singer revealed that he had been ill for two weeks, but had recently discovered that what he was battling was pneumonia. He wrote:
“I’m sorry to report that I was diagnosed with pneumonia earlier this week. Turns out that the pneumonia was actually present for the past 2 weeks, but I didn’t know it, because I’ve never had it before.”
Travis Tritt has been maintaining a busy tour schedule since April, playing an average of 6-8 shows per month. In addition to his own headlining shows, he has been a supporting act for Zach Top, Jason Aldean, Koe Wetzel, and The Red Clay Strays.
As a result of the illness, he was forced to temporarily step away from performing and reschedule two shows. The shows affected were:
- September 25th at Macon City Auditorium rescheduled to April 22nd, 2027
- September 26th at North Charleston PAC rescheduled to November 14th, 2026
Travis Tritt Provides Update On Upcoming Shows
In Travis’ initial post, he wrote, “I fully expect to be back in the saddle next week.” However, the “Help Me Hold On” singer has not yet recovered from his illness.
On Thursday, September 30th, he shared the unfortunate news that he will not be able to perform at the Country Calling Festival in Ocean City, Maryland, scheduled for Friday, October 2nd. Additionally, his show planned for Saturday, October 3rd, at the Altria Theater in Richmond, Virginia, has been rescheduled to Thursday, November 12th.
Original tickets will be honored for all rescheduled dates, and no action is required by the attendee. See the statement from Travis Tritt in the post below.
