Kevin Costner’s Horizon Gets Streaming Release Date Just Three Weeks After Its Theatrical Debut
If you haven’t had the chance to see Horizon in theaters, it will soon be available to stream at home.
The first chapter in Kevin Costner’s Horizon movie saga made its theatrical debut on June 28. A second installment of the Costner-led and directed project is slated for release on August 16.

Unfortunately, Horizon only earned $11 million over its opening weekend. It came in third place at the box office behind A Quiet Place: Day One and Inside Out 2.
After its second week in theaters, the first Horizon movie’s worldwide earnings rose to $23.2 million. It’s worth noting that Costner reportedly invested $38 million of his own money into the project.
Horizon fell three spots in the box office rankings during its second week, coming in at sixth place.

Less than three weeks after its premiere in theaters, Horizon will make its streaming debut.
How Can You Stream Kevin Costner’s New Movie?
Streaming tracker When to Stream reports that Horizon will be available through premium video on demand (PVOD) on Tuesday, July 16. The movie will be available to rent or purchase on multiple streaming platforms, such as Prime Video, AppleTV+, VUDU, and Google Play.
Prime Video specifically has listed Horizon‘s streaming premiere date as July 15 at 9 PM PT. This means it will be available to watch on the East Coast at midnight on July 16.
According to Forbes, Horizon is available for pre-order on Prime Video for $24.99. Forbes theorizes the film will follow the typical pattern of being $5 less to rent over a 48-hour period, making the rental price $19.99.
