‘Yellowstone’ Star Cole Hauser Reveals What It’s Like To Work With Kevin Costner

Fans of Yellowstone know that John Dutton (Kevin Costner) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) are close on the show, and Hauser is sharing what it’s really like to work with the Hollywood great day in and day out.

Hauser says that getting to know Costner has been great–and that the two have a lot in common.

Of Costner, Hauser told Fox News, “He’s from the kind of area in California [that I’m from]. He’s from Ventura. I’m from Santa Barbara. And getting to know him over the last five years, I mean, I’ve learned a lot about just being a gentleman on set and just a class act.”

Hauser also talked about Costner’s commitment to his family, and how he’s able to strike a delicate balance between his work and home lives.

“He’s got a family. I have three kids, a wonderful wife. And he’s just someone to look up to in my opinion. And then creatively, his storytelling, his want and desire to continue to push the envelope as a… creator… it’s inspiring.”
