ACM Awards To Bring Back 17-Time Host Reba McEntire

Get your cowboy boots ready—The Academy of Country Music Awards is bringing fans a special treat next year.

Over the years, the ACMs have been hosted by some of the biggest names in country music, such as Reba McEntire, Blake Shelton, Dolly Parton, and Luke Bryan. In 2023, Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks teamed up as hosts. Fans assumed the pair would return for the 2024 show, but to everyone’s surprise—and excitement—Reba McEntire was named host!

On May 16, 2024, Reba hosted the ACM Awards for the 17th time.

Before that, the last time she took on the role was in 2019. Having hosted more ACM Awards shows than any other artist, Reba is clearly pretty good at it. We might just call her “The Queen of Hosting!”

At this year’s 59th ACM Awards show, Reba not only did an incredible job as host, but she also delivered a phenomenal performance of her latest single, “I Can’t.” Relive her performance below!

To add to the excitement, the legendary Reba McEntire will be returning as host of the Academy of Country Music Awards for the 18th time!

Reba will take the reins and bring her unmatched charm and energy to the 60th anniversary of the ACM Awards. The prestigious event will be held on May 8, 2025, at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas.

In a new promotional video for the ACMs, Reba announced:

“…as your returning host, I’m excited to announce that the 60th ACM Awards will be returning to Texas and Prime Video on May 8, 2025. It’s going to be an absolute can’t-miss show, and I can’t wait to be there with you.”

As we gear up for the big night, anticipation is already building around the star-studded performances and surprise collaborations that the ACM Awards are known for.

Last year’s event featured unforgettable performances from Jason Aldean, Lainey Wilson, Miranda Lambert, Post Malone, and more. We can’t wait to see what next year’s show brings!
