Alan Jackson To Release Album From Historic Farewell Concert – Learn When
on Jun 30, 2026

Alan Jackson‘s last concert was recorded for a future live album, immortalizing the extraordinary night.
Following his diagnosis with the degenerative nerve condition Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease, Jackson made the decision to retire from touring. The condition affects Jackson’s balance and mobility, making it increasingly more challenging for him to maintain an active touring schedule.
After a multi-year farewell tour, Jackson performed at his final concert on Saturday, June 27th. The concert was held at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium, the same venue that hosted the headlining shows for CMA Fest just a few weeks prior.
The show opened with tributes from other artists, including Carrie Underwood, Riley Green, and Lainey Wilson. They each took turns singing one of Jackson’s songs before he appeared onstage later in the night.
After a weather delay, Jackson entertained the crowd with many of his signature songs, including “Remember When,” “Chattahoochee,” and “Where I Come From.” George Strait also joined him for two duets, singing “Designated Drinker” and “Murder on Music Row.”

“…captures an unforgettable evening celebrating the songs, stories and unmistakable voice that have defined generations of country music fans.”
