Bella Robertson Mayo has welcomed her first child, and nobody saw it coming!
Duck Dynasty star Bella Robertson and her husband of five years, Jacob Mayo, have welcomed a baby after years of infertility struggles.
Bella and Jacob shared the news in a social media post, captioning her Instagram story, “The best kept secret of my life!!!”

Bella revealed that their new addition was a precious baby girl, named Merritt Presley Mayo. Her exact date of birth wasn’t shared, but she weighed a healthy 6 lbs. 8 oz., according to the new mom.
The news of baby Merritt’s birth surprised fans who had no idea Bella was expecting.
Bella has long been private about her pregnancy journey, only briefly addressing it on the Robertson family’s new show, Duck Dynasty: Revival. Prior to the show’s premiere, Bella revealed that she and Jacob didn’t intend to speak publicly about their fertility struggles. But in an effort to “[show] up and [be] our authentic selves on this new show,” they opted to share their story.

Bella, the youngest daughter of Willie and Korie Robertson, told US Weekly that their decision to share the personal details came from a place of hoping they could help someone else.
“I think that we both felt like if we could help anybody, especially what are the odds that we’re on this stage where we can share something that is so real for so many?” she said.
