“Duck Dynasty” Family Members Share Precious Photos Of Bella Robertson’s Baby Girl

After years of struggling with infertility, Duck Dynasty star Bella Robertson Mayo and her husband, Jacob, welcomed a baby girl. The news took their followers by surprise, since Bella kept her entire pregnancy a secret and never announced they were expecting!
Bella and Jacob shared the joyful news of their daughter’s arrival on September 19, along with a sweet series of photos.
“our rainbow baby !!!!!!,” read the caption, “6 lb 8 oz of pure perfection — our girl, merritt presley mayo! Trust in God, He is so faithful!!”
Baby Merritt is named after Bella’s great-grandmother, Merritt Hale Robertson. Merritt was the mother of Bella’s late grandfather, Phil Robertson, and great-uncle, Silas “Si” Robertson.
The name “Merritt” has been carried down through the Robertson family. It’s Uncle Si’s middle name, and Bella also has a cousin named Merritt (she is Jep and Jessica’s daughter).
Robertson Family Members Rejoice As A New Duck Dynasty Baby Is Born
The Duck Dynasty family is overjoyed following baby Merritt’s arrival. Several of Bella’s family members took to social media to share their reactions to her birth, and they posted some precious new photos.
Bella’s older sister, Sadie Robertson Huff, shared a video documenting her niece’s birth. She wrote, “Look at what the Lord has done! He has turned mourning into dancing! Thank you God for Merritt Presley Mayo!“
Bella’s oldest sister, Rebecca Robertson Loflin, posted a handful of adorable photos with Merritt. She also shared a few snapshots from Bella’s pregnancy…now that the news is no longer a secret!
Rebecca wrote a heartfelt message in the caption, saying how watching Bella become a mother “has been the sweetest thing.” She ended her note by saying:
“Welcome to the fam, baby Merritt!! We’ve prayed for you for soooo long, and you are already so, so loved.
Bella’s grandmother, Chrys Howard (Korie Robertson’s mother), also celebrated Merritt’s arrival. She is Chrys and her husband John’s 17th great-grandchild.
Chrys was at the hospital when Merritt was born. She shared a full slideshow of photos that show the beautiful baby girl meeting a few of her many family members for the first time.
“Bella and Jacob, thank you for including all of us in the fun,” Chrys captioned her pictures. “Know that we are always in your corner, cheering you on. Welcome to our big, wonderful family, Merritt Presley!”
Willie & Korie Robertson Now Have 12 Grandchildren
Of course, two of the most elated family members following Merritt’s birth were her grandparents, Willie and Korie Robertson (Bella’s parents). The Duck Dynasty stars now have 12 grandchildren.
Their son, John Luke Robertson, and his wife, Mary Kate, have 5 kids. Sadie and her husband, Christian Huff, have 3. Rebecca and her husband, John Reed Loflin, have 3 as well.
Korie confirmed that Merritt was born on September 17, the day after Bella’s own birthday (September 16).
“Just one day after @bellarobmayo birthday I got to witness her, my baby girl, give birth to her baby girl,” Korie wrote next to a slideshow of photos from the day Merritt was born. “There are no words to describe the gratefulness that we feel!”
She continued to write, “Countless prayers that have been prayed for this little beauty, by us and also so many of you.”

Proud grandpa Willie shared several heartwarming photos with his new granddaughter. His caption was short, but tender, as he wrote:
“Added another perfect little girl to our family. We are so happy for @bellarobmayo and @jacobdmayo. God is so good!”
