No one will ever forget the iconic photos from Elvis Presley‘s wedding to his longtime sweetheart, Priscilla Beaulieu.
The bride and groom were the definitions of glamorous as they tied the knot at The Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas on May 1, 1967.
Despite the fact that Elvis was the world’s biggest superstar at the time, the wedding was a small affair. They were wed during an eight-minute civil ceremony arranged by Elvis’ manager, Colonel Parker, and later entertained a close-knit group of family and friends during a breakfast reception.

The breakfast buffet cost $10,000 and featured delicious dishes such as Southern fried chicken and lobster. As for their six-tier wedding cake, it cost $3,200, which was more than the price of a Chevrolet at the time. But the hefty price tag makes sense when you consider how beautiful the cake was, and the fact that it stood five feet tall.
Understandably so, Elvis and Priscilla’s wedding was all people could talk about for a while. Even though the marriage eventually ended in divorce, people still can’t help but be amazed by photos from Elvis and Priscilla’s wedding.
