The World’s Leading Line Dance Group

By now, the Boot Boogie Babes are a group that needs no introduction. The talented ladies on Seattle’s leading line dance team have taken the internet by storm with their peppy dance videos.

These gals have danced their way through major country hits such as Luke Bryan‘s “Kick the Dust Up” and Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood‘s “Somethin’ Bad.”

But dances set to current country hits aren’t all the Boot Boogie Babes have in their repertoire.

Kickin’ It To A Classic

The Babes took line dancing back to its Western roots with a dance set to a tune by a Grammy-winning country band. Named Asleep at the Wheel, the group has received an impressive nine Grammys since it formed in 1970.

Known for the Top 10 hit “The Letter That Johnny Walker Read,” Asleep at the Wheel also sang a tune that was practically made for line dancing. Called “Boogie Back to Texas,” the fast-paced tune is the perfect song to kick up your heels to.

This is something that the Boot Boogie Babes realized, which is why they choreographed an entire dance to the song. Their choreographer, DeAnna Lee, shared a video of their dance on YouTube, and it has now been watched thousands of times.

The Boot Boogie Babes hit the ground running from the second the song starts. Throwing in a series of spins and kicks, the girls never miss a beat in this rapid-fire dance.

This dance has some fancier footwork than some of the Babes’ other routines, so it will take a little longer for you to learn. Don’t be intimidated by that though, because the dance looks like a blast!

Go ahead and tune in below to watch the Boot Boogie Babes tear up the dance floor. They really cranked up the heat for this one!
