Brantley Gilbert Shared In Detail The First Moments Of His Son’s Birth
Brantley Gilbert’s wife, Amber, should go down in history as the coolest mom ever!
Not only did she start her own school, but she also gave birth to her son on her country music star husband’s tour bus. Frankly, she is iconic.
Brantley is currently on his Off the Rails Tour. During his October 11th stop in Tupelo, Mississippi, security gestured the singer offstage. What he did not know at the time was that his son was being born.

Brantley ran offstage once he realized what was happening and returned shortly after the baby was born to celebrate with the concertgoers. He exclaimed, “We got a baby, Mississippi!”
Brantley Gilbert Was The First Person To Hold His Son
The “You Don’t Know Her Like I Do” singer recounted his son’s birth on a recent podcast with Big D & Bubba.
“Four songs in, my floor manager came and got me. My first thought was it was a security issue, and I didn’t follow him immediately. Then he got a few steps away, looked at me, and mouthed ‘baby’ to me. When he said ‘baby,’ we just took off.”
He went on to say that he was the first person to hold his son. When his wife was giving birth, the midwife, who had been traveling with the couple in case of an unplanned birth, asked Brantley if he wanted to catch his son.
The singer said yeah and got to be the first person to hold his son. He said, “It was really cool. I got to be the first. The first person to ever touch him. But man, she [Amber] was. She’s an absolute warrior.”
He continued to say, “she had the baby, and then my tour manager came up, and he said, ‘Hey man, if we go in the next 15 minutes, we can finish.'”
He returned to the stage with amniotic fluid still on his arm!
