As a Texas native, Johnson is a familiar face on the RodeoHouston stage, having graced it five times already. Adding to his connection with the event, he recorded the theme song, “Welcome to the Show,” setting the tone for the nightly festivities. Needless to say, he’s a crowd favorite, and the excitement peaked when he and Jelly Roll sang their duet, “Whiskey Bent.”
