This October, Dunkin’ is offering up something that tastes even scarier than it looks – the spicy ghost pepper donut.

October 14th will see the release of the spicy donut from Dunkin’. The ghost pepper is said to reach more than one million Scoville Heat Units so why not put it on something sweet? For comparison, Tabasco ranks on the Scoville scale somewhere between 2,500 and 5,000 SHUs.

According to a Reddit post, Dunkin’s Spicy Ghost Pepper Donut is described as a “yeast ring with Spicy Ghost Pepper Strawberry Dipping Icing and sprinkled with Red Sanding Sugar.”

If you don’t feel like setting your mouth on fire first thing in the morning, Dunkin’ offers other options fit for celebrating Halloween. Dunkin’ is also releasing donuts with the orange and black drizzles and sprinkles, there’s the Spider Donut, which places a “spider” munchkin at the center of an orange frosted donut. Another delicious fall option is the Apple Cider Donut.

In addition to their donuts, Dunkin’ is adding a new Pumpkin Spice Latte to the menu, as well as bringing back the pumpkin-flavored swirl that you can add to any hot or iced coffee, cold brew, espresso, frozen coffee, or frozen chocolate. There’s also a new chai latte for those who want a warm drink in the fall but prefer tea to coffee.
