Jason Aldean Surprises Fans With “Try That In A Small Town” At Bar Grand Opening

Jason Aldean’s new song has been a hot topic recently due to its seemingly controversial nature.
Jason Aldean’s current #1 song, “Try That in a Small Town,” overtook the Billboard Hot 100 following the release of the controversial music video. The song has been praised and rebuked by several celebrities including Donald Trump, Travis Tritt, Luke Bryan, Tim McGraw, Sheryl Crow, Ron DeSantis, and many others. The video was eventually edited to no longer include clips that depicted violence due to copyright permissions.

Aldean recently opened up his second bar in Tennessee.
Located in Gatlinburg, Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar is sure to earn a great amount of supporters. The singer opened his first Kitchen and Rooftop Bar in Nashville, and due to its success, the singer naturally wanted to expand and decided Gatlinburg was the perfect place to do so.
The three story restaurant features a different experience on each level of the building. Featuring a tribute to Sun Records, the first floor hosts a sun diner and gift shop. The second floor is a dining area, and the third is the rooftop bar showcasing a stage where live musicians play four nights a week. That’s only fitting for a country music star’s bar, right?

The Facebook video gives an up-close and personal view of Jason passionately singing “Try That In A Small Town,” giving the impression he stands behind every word he is singing. He is shown wearing jeans, a Harley Davidson tee and his signature cowboy hat as he sings the now-familiar lyrics.
Aldean declined to comment further on the video during the grand opening, but he posted a very clear statement on Twitter revealing his feelings on the issue following the backlash he received a month ago.
In the past 24 hours I have been accused of releasing a pro-lynching song (a song that has been out since May) and was subject to the comparison that I (direct quote) was not too pleased with the nationwide BLM protests. These references are not only meritless, but dangerous.…
