Jelly Roll And Snoop Dogg Are Back With A Comedic Collaboration

The NFL Honors took place in New Orleans on February 6, three days ahead of what is shaping up to be a historic Super Bowl.

The Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles will face off on Sunday, February 9, competing for the title of 59th Super Bowl champion.

This Super Bowl marks the historic moment of President Donald Trump being the first sitting president to attend the event.

Additionally, it could be the first time in history that a team wins three times in a row; the Kansas City Chiefs are back-to-back Super Bowl champions and are fighting to make history.

Snoop Dogg mentioned this three-peat opportunity in his opening monologue for the 14th Annual NFL Honors.

His speech was lighthearted and fun but quickly turned into more of a roast. For instance, he teased Bill Belichick (72) about his 24-year-old girlfriend, joking that he remembered when the Cowboys were good and the Chiefs were bad—before Belichick’s girlfriend was even born. The couple laughed off the joke.

Another funny moment from the night included Camryn Bynum and Joshua Metellus recreating the dance from the movie White Chicks in front of Terry Crews, who starred in the film himself. Watch the whole moment below.

For country music fans, the standout moment was when Jelly Roll appeared on the NFL Honors stage.

Jelly Roll And Snoop Dogg’s Skit

Snoop Dogg walked out in his Pittsburgh Steelers uniform, humorously pitching himself as a new player to the Steelers’ coach.

While he was explaining why he would be great on the team, a Tennessee Titans jersey-wearing Jelly Roll entered, jokingly arguing with Snoop Dogg about why he would be a better football player than the rapper. Jelly Roll claimed that he is not only athletic but also a music superstar, delivering a funny one-liner. He said, “One could say I am Travis and Taylor in the same pair of britches.”

Snoop Dogg later in their set joked that maybe Jelly Roll could join the NFL as an O-line-man.

The country music singer responded, “O-line? I want to play running back,” and then continued on to the punch line of their short skit.

“I am going to change the position forever. Forget the tush push; your team needs the Jelly belly.”
