Cameras are officially rolling on Season 3 of Landman.

The show’s official Instagram page confirmed the news with a photo of a hard hat with the new CTT Oil Exploration & Cattle, LLC. sticker over an M-Tex Oil sticker.

As fans know, CTT Oil Exploration & Cattle is the name of Tommy Norris’ (Billy Bob Thornton) new company he formed with his son Cooper (Jacob Lofland), his father TL (Sam Elliott), his lawyers Rebecca (Kayla Wallace) and Nathan (Colm Feore), and several of his oil workers after he was fired by Cami Miller (Demi Moore) at the end of Season 2.

Season 3 of Landman saw some major delays in filming, leaving fans wondering when they would ever roll cameras. For the first two seasons, filming began in May of each year, with the show premiering in November of 2024 and 2025. But at the end of the summer, they still hadn’t gone back to Texas to film!

James Jordan, who plays foreman Dale Bradley, revealed in August that production was still delayed and that creator Taylor Sheridan was currently writing Season 3.

“Taylor [Sheridan] is writing as we speak,” Jordan said at the premiere of Lioness. “It’s going to be 10 crazy, wonderful, funny and wild episodes—just like season 1 and season 2 have been. [Series lead] Billy Bob [Thornton] and everybody, we’re all ready to get back to work.”

He shared a now-deleted post on September 24th announcing production on Landman had started.

Landman Makes Four Casting Changes

For the upcoming third season, Landman has announced that they are making a casting change.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, four actors have been promoted to season regulars:  Colm Feore, Mustafa Speaks, Bobbi Salvor Menuez and Francesca Xuereb.

Colm Feore plays the Norris’ live-in attorney Nathan, who turns down Cami’s offer to be President of M-Tex after she fires Tommy.

Mustafa Speaks is known to fans as Theodore “Boss” Ramon, the crew chief for Norris’ oil worker crew.

Bobbi Salvor Menuez joined the cast in a guest role capacity, playing Paigyn, Ainsley’s (Michelle Randolph) roommate at TCU.

Francesca Xuereb was introduced in Season 3 as a character named Cheyenne, who is a stripper that Tommy asks to be his father’s physical therapist. She is able to get TL to relax and really open up, so the addition of Francesca to the main cast likely means more vulnerable scenes from Sam Elliott, and that is always a treat for fans.

Billy Bob Thornton, Ali Larter, Demi Moore, Andy Garcia, Sam Elliott, Jacob Lofland, Paulina Chávez, Michelle Randolph, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie, and James Jordan are all returning.

It was also reported that Michael Kelly will be joining the cast for Season 3 as an oil tycoon. Previously, Kelly appeared in another Taylor Sheridan project, Lioness, becoming one of the many actors to crossover in multiple Sheridan shows.

Now that Landman has begun filming, the countdown to the premiere begins! We predict Season 3 will debut in late April or early May.
