Remember When John Stamos’ Son Stole The Spotlight While Playing Drums With The Beach Boys?
There’s one concert John Stamos will likely never forget, and it featured a very special guest.
During a show last year with The Beach Boys, Stamos was joined on stage by his son, Billy, who played the drums alongside him.
The 7-year-old and his famous dad drummed side by side during the band’s iconic hit “Good Vibrations.”
In a video shared by Stamos on social media, his son Billy is seen sitting right next to him with his own pair of drumsticks.
Wearing neon green headphones to protect his ears, Billy plays along just like his dad, keeping the beat and absolutely stealing the spotlight!
“Had a little help from my son BILLY on good vibrations last night – Wasn’t it nice!,” Stamos captioned the video.
Fans loved the cute video of Billy playing the drums with his dad.
They left comments underneath the video showing their support for him following in his dad’s musical footsteps.
“Was a great concert! So awesome that you were able to have that moment with your son,” a fan wrote.
“Great job Billy…another drummer enters the family…,” another said.

John Stamos Has A Long History With The Beach Boys
Stamos has performed with them on and off since 1984. Sharing the stage with his son marked a new, sentimental chapter in this musical journey.
During an interview with ET back in June 2021, John Stamos (our favorite Full House star and multi-talented musician) revealed just how much performing with The Beach Boys still means to him, even after rocking out with them for over 30 years.
“Sometimes, I hit myself in the head with a drumstick. I’m like, ‘I’m playing with the Beach Boys.’ I can’t even tell you how much it means to me.”
The Beach Boys concert was also a special moment for Stamos as he honored his late father on the 23rd anniversary of his passing.
Before performing the song “Forever,” Stamos told the audience:
“You know, the things that separate us seem so small compared to what brings us together. Isn’t that true? I mean, music unites us, and it’s so personal yet so universal. And if anything, I would love for you to take a little piece of tonight home in your heart with you and just go to it when you need it most.”
He shared the heartfelt clip of himself introducing the next song on social media.
“I lost my dad 23 years ago today. This song is called ‘Forever’ — and that’s how long love should last,” he captioned the post.
