Kelly Clarkson And Brett Eldredge Team Up For New Christmas Song

The King and Queen of Christmas have joined forces once again!
On September 17, Brett Eldredge and Kelly Clarkson released a brand-new Christmas song.
Eldredge has started to be known as Mr. Christmas, thanks to his incredible Christmas albums and tours, and began teasing new Christmas music in July. He shared a series of videos of him working on something in the studio and the caption was his website and the eyeball emoji.
If you go to his website, it has been redesigned to be Christmas-themed, with Clark Griswold’s iconic moose eggnog glass at the bottom.
On September 10, he teased new music once again. This time, he used the audio of a recording session between him and a female artist. Many were quick to point out that the female voice was none other than Kelly Clarkson.
“I’ve been working extra hard all year(with the help of some of my talented friends 😜)to make this an extra “Sweet December”! More to come soon:)” he wrote alongside the video.
Brett Eldredge Announces New Christmas Album With Original Songs
On September 17, Eldredge announced his new album Merry Christmas (Welcome To The Family), which he began writing right when he finished his Glow Tour last year.
“I…dove into writing an album full of original Christmas songs that will hopefully become classics in your hearts and minds. We recorded this album trying to encapsulate the classic Christmas sounds I’ve always loved and put my own soulful and jazz-like spin on it,” he says of the upcoming album.
Merry Christmas (Welcome To The Family) is available to pre-order now and will be released on September 27.
One of his favorite songs on the album, “Sweet December,” is out now and it features none other than Kelly Clarkson.
“Sweet December” is a love song where two people are reminiscing about all the incredible times they had together during December, leading up to their favorite holiday, Christmas!
