Country music icon Randy Travis has dug into the archives to bring new music to fans.

Earlier this year, the “Forever and Ever, Amen” singer revealed that a new album was in the works. Following the musician’s debilitating stroke in 2013, many thought his years of making music were over. He was left with severe left-brain damage, resulting in expressive aphasia, which impacts his ability to speak and sing, and requires long-term wheelchair use.

However, old recordings combined with new technology helped bring the project to life. Randy’s longtime producer, Kyle Lehning, remixed and remastered previously unheard originals pulled from the singer’s decades-long career.

Team Travis helped me run the bases on this one, and it feels like a home run! It’s a joy and a blessing to be able to bring new music to my listeners—thank you all for still showing up for me.”
