Country music star Luke Combs surprised fans on Saturday, June 15, by making an appearance in a video released by the popular sports and comedy content creators Dude Perfect.

The video posted to the Dude Perfect YouTube channel, titled “Dad Stereotypes,” showcases Combs delivering classic “dadisms”—those typical phrases that seem to go hand in hand with fatherhood. Throughout his appearance in the skit, Combs recites timeless lines like “Go ask your mother” and the classic parental threat of “Don’t make me turn this car around,” perfectly capturing the essence of dad humor.

Luke Combs’ cameo on the Dude Perfect YouTube channel was perfectly timed with both Father’s Day and the release of his latest album, “Fathers & Sons.” Announced on June 6, his fifth studio album dropped on Friday, June 14. In the weeks leading up to the release, Combs had been teasing several tracks, offering glimpses into a deeply personal collection that would resonate with anyone experiencing fatherhood.

“I’ve got two boys under 2, so my life is dominated by the thoughts of being there for them,” Combs said in a statement. “I want to be their dad first and foremost.”

“I just had to do this project … because being a dad to my boys has been the main thing on my mind lately,” he added.
