“Marshals” Launches First Look At Season 2 As Filming Begins

The cast of Marshals is ready to hop back in the saddle for Season 2.
Marshals is a Yellowstone spin-off centered on Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes) as he pursues a new path in life by joining an elite team of U.S. Marshals. As you’d expect, the group faces its fair share of danger and drama.
The series was an out-of-the-gate success. The premiere attracted a historic number of viewers for CBS: 9.52 million viewers to be exact. With streaming numbers factored in, that total jumped to 20 million.
After getting that data back, it came as no surprise when Marshals announced on March 12 that the show had been renewed for a second season!

The show’s first season ended with a cliffhanger finale on May 24. Now, just a little over two weeks later, the crew confirmed they’ve officially started production on Season 2!
On Monday (June 8), the series’ social media accounts shared a post announcing, “Marshals is back to work on Season 2— production has officially begun on all-new episodes.”
The post contained a first look at Season 2 in the form of two new photos. The first picture shows Tatanka Means (who plays Miles) and Ash Santos (who plays Andrea) posing together on set.
The second snapshot depicts Luke Grimes in character as Kayce while riding his horse through the wilderness. See both of those photos below for a sneak peek at Season 2!
Marshals Fans React To Latest Update On Season 2
Fans of the Yellowstone spin-off were sent into a frenzy after seeing its latest update. The comments on the show’s Instagram post perfectly capture the excitement surrounding Season 2.

The fates of characters Cal and Belle were left in the air at the end of Season 1. Their actors, Logan Marshall-Green and Arielle Kebbel, have already spilled the beans on whether they survive or not, and if we’ll see them in Season 2.
It has been confirmed that Luke Grimes, Brecken Merrill, Mo Brings Plenty, Gil Birmingham, Ash Santos, and Tatanka Means will all reprise their roles in Season 2. However, it remains unclear if Ash Santos’ Andrea will remain in Montana or return to Washington D.C.
