Prior to 1923, Sklenar had roles in the movies MapplethorpeVice, and Midway. After Season One of 1923, he gained even more notoriety in the movie It Ends With Us opposite Blake Lively.

On screen, the world fell in love with Sklenar’s character, Spencer Dutton, who was a World War I veteran who began the series as a big game hunter in Africa. There, he met his eventual wife, Alexandra, who was engaged to be married to someone else.

Their love story and journey together was a focal point of both seasons of the show.

Is Brandon In A Relationship?

Due to his intimate scenes with Schlaepfer and their incredible chemistry, many have wondered if the two are an item in real life.

Turns out, they are not a couple, but Brandon is in a relationship with a woman named Courtney Salviolo.

According to her Instagram page, Courtney is a personal trainer and wellness coach based out of Santa Barbara, California.

How Did Brandon Sklenar Meet His Girlfriend?

Brandon has been doing press for his new movie Drop. He and his costar, Meghann Fahy, sat down with Entertainment Tonight for an interview back in March, where he spoke about how he met his girlfriend.

The interviewer asked Sklenar and Fahy if they’ve ever had to deal with dating apps.

Sklenar answered, “I actually met my partner on a dating app. I didn’t have Facebook. I wasn’t a phone app guy. It was right when Covid happened… How am I going to meet somebody? I was like, ‘Oh I’ll get on this…’ I think it was Hinge.”

While they don’t share each other on social media, Courtney has attended several red carpet events with Sklenar, including the 1923 Season 2 Premiere.

Despite having to travel so much for work, Sklenar enjoys his time being at home with Courtney the most.

He told Forbes in August 2024:

“It was really jarring because we were in Africa, so you’re 9-11 hours ahead and you can’t really communicate with anybody and we shot six days a week.  I’m eternally grateful for it for the rest of my life, but it was emotionally challenging. I’m a homebody — I love to be home with my partner and my dog and my house. The irony is I have a job that takes me everywhere, which I love, too. It’s a weird dichotomy.”

He continued, “Well, it’s funny – I had actually just finished filming the first part of 1923. It was very intense and I was away from home for about five months. It was the first time I had done something like that, where I was gone for that long,” he told Forbes.

After several years together, it seems Brandon and Courtney have figured out how to make his schedule work.
