Miranda Lambert Confirms New Duet With Ella Langley & Shares Its Release Date

Fans of Miranda Lambert and Ella Langley woke up to some exciting news on Wednesday morning (September 23).
The previous day, September 22, Lambert posted a mysterious video teasing a collaboration called “Snakeskin Boots.” The clip showed the boot-clad feet of (presumably) two ladies walking toward the camera.
Lambert’s followers were left wondering who her new duet partner could be. Some guesses were Taylor Swift, Lainey Wilson, Kacey Musgraves, and Langley.
Those who guessed Langley ended up being correct!
Lambert confirmed on September 23 that Langley is the featured artist on “Snakeskin Boots.” She said, “Snakeskin Boots featuring my bada** sister @ellalangleymusic will be out with my album “Crisco.‘”
Lambert also announced when “Snakeskin Boots” will be released. It will be available for fans to enjoy on October 2, the same day Lambert’s new album, Crisco, drops.

Miranda Lambert And Ella Langley Have Worked Together Before
“Snakeskin Boots” isn’t the first time Lambert and Langley have collaborated. Lambert co-produced Langley’s CMA Award-nominated album, Dandelion, with Langley and Ben West.
She also joined Langley, Luke Dick, and Joybeth Taylor to co-write the hit song “Choosin’ Texas.” The track just broke the record for the longest-running #1 song in the history of Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. With 34 non-consecutive weeks at #1, it surpassed the record previously held by Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”
Langley also included a collaboration with Lambert on Dandelion. That song appears as the 16th track on the record, and is titled “Butterfly Season.”
Like “Choosin’ Texas,” Langley and Lambert co-wrote “Butterfly Season” with Luke Dick and Joybeth Taylor. You can listen to the tune below.
