Country singer Morgan Wallen was recently arrested on felony charges. The arrest occurred following an incident at Eric Church’s newly opened Chief’s bar in downtown Nashville.

According to News Channel 5 out of Nashville, Wallen was charged with three felony counts early on Monday morning (April 8).

News Channel 5 cites Wallen’s arrest report. The report states that Metro Nashville police officers were standing in front of Chief’s Bar and watched as a chair fell from above and hit the ground. The chair fell approximately three feet from the officers.

The arrest report states that Chief’s staff told officers that Wallen threw the chair off the bar’s sixth floor.

Officers reviewed a video that showed Wallen “lunging and throwing an object over the roof.” According to witnesses cited in the report, Wallen laughed after throwing the object.
