Morgan Wallen is celebrating a massive milestone

Morgan Wallen’s most recent album One Thing At A Time has officially broken the record for the longest-running #1 country album in Billboard 200 history.

One Thing At A Time just celebrated its first anniversary. It was released on March 3, 2023, and occupied the #1 spot for an impressive 12 weeks straight upon its debut. Since then, it has moved in and out of the top spot, but has never dipped below #6. As of this week, it has spent 19 non-consecutive weeks at the top of the Billboard 200 chart – the most weeks ever logged by a country album.

The extensive 36-track album contains Wallen’s smash hit “Last Night” which was the most streamed song of 2023, across all genres. One Thing At A Time also features collaborations with Eric Church, HARDY, and Ernest.

The record was previously held by legendary country music artist, Garth Brooks, for over 30 years. His 1991 album Ropin’ The Wind spent 18 non-consecutive weeks at the top.

Ropin’ The Wind was Garth Brooks’ third studio album but his first to debut at #1 on the Billboard chart. It contained Brooks’ version of Billy Joel’s “Shameless” which went on to be a massive success.
