Nashville’s beloved Wildhorse Saloon, a staple of the city’s Honky Tonk history, has closed its doors after nearly three decades making room for Luke Combs’ highly anticipated bar.

Wildhorse Saloon Announces Its Closure

The establishment officially announced its closure on New Year’s Day, posting a statement on their social media accounts.

“Dear Wildhorse Saloon Family,

Since 1994, Wildhorse Saloon has been a beacon of Nashville’s vibrant music scene. We’re excited to announce that 2024 marks the beginning of a new chapter for this iconic venue,” Wildhorse Saloon shared on their Facebook account.

“As we step into this promising era, let’s raise a glass to the past and toast to the brilliant future ahead,” the statement continued. “Our heartfelt thanks to patrons, artists, staff, and everyone who contributed to making Wildhorse Saloon the legend it is today. We extend our deepest gratitude to all who graced our stage, danced on our dance floor, and sang along to the music.”

About Luke Combs’ Bar

Earlier this year, Luke Combs announced that he will be partnering alongside Opry Entertainment Group, a division of Ryman Hospitality Group, to join the growing list of bars owned by Country Music artists in Nashville’s iconic Broadway scene. The future complex will seemingly draw inspiration from his chart-topping success and platinum debut No. 1 hit, “Hurricane.”

Combs’ bar is said to become the largest entertainment establishment in Nashville, spanning an impressive 69,000 square feet, boasting an indoor/outdoor capacity that can hold about 3,200 attendees.

The bar will also feature a concert space capable of accommodating 1,500 attendees for ticketed events, along with a rooftop spanning 9,000 square feet that provides scenic views of the Cumberland River and Nissan Stadium.

The Luke Combs venue is anticipated to open in 2024, although an official opening date has not been confirmed or announced yet.
