Earlier This Year, A Burglary Was Reported At Greg Biffle’s Home Following His Tragic Death

The break-in occurred less than a month after Greg and his family’s passing.

Back in December, news broke that a Cessna C550 business jet owned by retired NASCAR driver Greg Biffle had crashed at Statesville Regional Airport just outside of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Those on board included Greg, his wife Cristina, their children Emma and Ryder, and close friend Craig Wadsworth. The pilot, Dennis Dutton, and his son Jack were also on the plane.

After further investigation, officials confirmed that there were no survivors.

Reports suggest the plane had turned around and was attempting to land back at the airport shortly after takeoff. However, an official cause of the crash has not been confirmed.

Following their deaths, Cristina’s mother, Cathy, revealed that she received a text from her daughter just before the crash that read, “We’re in trouble.”

Even more distress followed when a burglary took place at the Biffles’ home just three weeks after their deaths.

An incident report obtained by WBTV reveals that the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office responded to an emergency call after a family friend staying in the house called 911. They were concerned after realizing someone had tried to kick the doors in.

$30,000 in cash and two firearms were allegedly stolen from the Biffle family’s estate.

However, it appears that the ongoing case has become more complicated and even more disturbing.

It has also come to light that a bank account linked to the family was compromised before the break-in. At least one fraudulent check was attempted to be cashed from an account tied to Greg’s business interests.
