Post Malone & Morgan Wallen Drop Long-Awaited Duet, “I Had Some Help”

“I Had Some Help,” The Highly Anticipated Duet Between Post Malone & Morgan Wallen, Is Out Now

After much anticipation, Post Malone and Morgan Wallen released their new duet, “I Had Some Help,” on Friday (May 10).

Near the end of 2023, Malone confirmed he has a country record in the works. The news came after years of Malone covering country songs and collaborating with country artists.

He’s already released his first country song, a cover of “Pickup Man” by Joe Diffie. Malone also performed the song at the CMA Awards with Wallen and HARDY.

Then, in April 2024, Malone started teasing another collaboration with Wallen. Fans begged the pair to release the track, and they obliged.

Both Malone and Wallen performed at the recent Stagecoach music festival, held from April 26-28. During the festival, Wallen surprised the crowd by welcoming Malone onstage to perform their duet live for the first time.

The song is called “I Had Some Help.”

Shortly after Stagecoach, radio station KBAY Country announced they would play “I Had Some Help” on Wednesday (May 8). However, most fans heard the song for the first time when it was released on streaming services and YouTube on Friday (May 10).

Fans React To “I Had Some Help” After Its Release

Malone and Wallen’s new duet mixes pop and country sounds. The rowdy song includes lyrics such as:

“I had some help/It ain’t like I can make this kind of mess all by myself/Don’t act like you ain’t help me pull that bottle off the shelf.”

Per PEOPLE, the duo also plans to release a music video for “I Had Some Help,” which will drop at 10 AM ET on Friday (May 10).

In the meantime, Malone and Wallen have uploaded the official audio for “I Had Some Help” on YouTube. Fans reacted to the duet in the comments, saying:
