Reba Premieres Her Brand New Song At The ACM Awards

The 2024 ACM Awards were in full swing Thursday, May 16, featuring country music’s top stars gracing the stage with special performances.
Guiding the evening was host Reba McEntire, who led viewers through the night’s events while also treating them to an outstanding performance of her own. Taking a brief break from hosting, Reba delivered an unforgettable performance, performing brand-new music to close out this years ACM Awards.
The track Reba performed was her latest single, “I Can’t.”
In a silver glitter dress that sparkled just as much as her iconic voice, Reba McEntire sang her new song, “I Can’t,” at the ACM Awards. With a choir of backup singers and fire lighting up the background, Reba delivered a performance that brought the evening to a stunning close.
Reba publicly announced her latest single, “I Can’t,” for the first time during an interview on the Jennifer Hudson Show, where she also hinted at an upcoming album release. Although Reba didn’t provide many details about the album’s launch, she did offer her fans a glimpse of the new song during her appearance on the daytime talk show. The track made its full debut when Reba took the stage on The Voice just a week before her hosting gig at the ACM Awards.
Reba’s History at the ACM Awards
Reba has certainly impressed viewers at this year’s ACM Awards, adding another unforgettable moment to her already impressive list of ACM Award appearances. Her history with the ACM Awards is truly incredible, as she has hosted the show an impressive 16 times prior, with her first hosting gig dating all the way back to 1986.
Her most recent solo hosting gig occurred in 2019, and in previous years, she has shared hosting duties with other country artists such as Blake Shelton, Alan Jackson, George Strait, Hank Williams Jr., and more.
