The First “Dutton Ranch” Trailer Is Here – And Texas Has Never Looked Deadlier

Dutton Ranch Finally Releases First Official Trailer
With the upcoming premiere of Dutton Ranch quickly approaching, fans were wondering when the first trailer would be released.
They released two teaser clips on social media, both showing some intense moments between Beth, Rip, and their new adversaries.
Prior to the release of any clips, Paramount+ shared the first official poster featuring a “DR” brand for Dutton Ranch, along with the caption, “Texas you’re on notice. Beth and Rip are coming.”
Fans were left with many questions, including “When did they move down to Texas?!”
Since neither teaser clip answered the question, we hoped a full trailer might.
Meet The Characters In The First Official Trailer
The official trailer, which was released on Tuesday, May 5th, just ten days before the premiere of the show, opens with Rip telling Beth that he misses waking up to the mountains.
“This life here. It’s gonna work isn’t it?” Beth asks Rip, to which he responds, “We’ll make it work.”

The trailer then shows their modest ranch house, with their “DR” logo at the top. Next, Rip is startled by something in the distance, so he takes out his shotgun and much to his surprise, he finds a dead body buried on their land.
We meet Beulah Jackson, played by Academy Award-nominated actress Annette Bening, who reveals that prior to Beth and Rip’s arrival, the ranch they bought was once called “The Edwards Ranch.”

She owns a nearby ranch that has been in her family for 190 years, which she fiercely protects, just like the Duttons did with the Yellowstone for generations. Beulah is described as “powerful, charming, and cunning.”
Then we meet Everett McKinney, a veterinarian played by Academy Award-winner Ed Harris. His character is described as a “good-humored, weathered veteran.” He also calls Beulah, “Miss Rio Paloma herself” and “an acquired taste.” Later in the trailer, we see Everett with a gun saying, “I thought I’d see my last fire fight,” so we know he joins the epic fight that will go down, we just don’t know which side he is taking…yet.

The trailer shows Beulah’s cunning side, wanting to get to the bottom of Beth and Rip’s secrets to use against them, and she will use her right-hand man to get the job done.
Jai Courtney is introduced as Beulah’s ranch foreman, Rob-Will, and someone who seems like they will do anything for her, no questions asked. Similar to Rip’s relationship with John Dutton.

“No one understands what we done to protect this ranch. No one know what we’d do to hold onto it,” he says before an entire field is ablaze with a huge wildfire. It’s clear he means he will do literally anything for Beulah’s ranch.
Rip has a new right hand man and a ranch hand in Azul and Zachariah. Both are former wranglers who had tough times thrust upon them and are trying to rebuild their lives.
In a scene included in the trailer, Rip tells them they are going into one heck of a fight and that they are welcome to leave, but it seems they are ready for whatever is ahead to defend Rip, Beth, and the Dutton Ranch.

Finn Little reprises his role as Carter, and this time, he has a love interest, a girl named Oreana, portrayed by Natalie Alyn Lind. They can be seen kissing in the trailer.

Juan Pablo Raba rounds out the main cast, according to a release from Paramount+, although he does not appear in the trailer. He plays Joaquin, who works at a major Texas ranch and has a “knack for fixing problems, both big and small.”

The trailer ends with intense imagery of moments to come, with Beth saying, “I wanted peace.”
Rip tells her, “You can’t chase peace. You gotta live it.”
“The peace will have to wait,” she replies.
The intense moments include multiple gunfights, bar fights, explosions, dead bodies, a medical helicopter, and so much more.
